Learning and teaching have always been important to Ed. He attended
many formal military schools during his career in the Army. He is a
graduate of the Defense Language Institute, Army Aviator flight training,
and Command and General Staff College. Ed's life has also been
tremendously improved by his university studies--not only the formal
portion, but also by the contacts, experiences, and insights into the world
around him. Ed possesses a great curiosity about the world and also
has an ability to learn while doing.
Ed was a graduate teaching assistant at The University of Akron and also
taught for two years on the faculty at West Point. Whenever possible, Ed
enjoys presenting information briefings, and teaching in formal and
informal settings.
